Calling all aviation buffs! The The Flying Monkey Grill has opened to the public at the Hartford Brainard Airport. For just a few months now, the restaurant has been dishing up delicious food in a super neat location right by the runway. You can even watch planes take off and land while you eat!
The menu offers an eclectic variety of cuisine for all palates. To start, a favorite is the Monkey Rolls, which come either with veggies or a delicious shaved sirloin and cheese. For entrees, The Petite Flight Attendant dishes up a perfectly cooked piece of filet mignon, or if you’re a vegetarian the Vegetarian Monkey is a delicious pasta dish chock full of veggies. You can’t leave without trying the Monkey Fried Cheesecake.
Stop by Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for their Monkey Hour, boasting all sorts of deals. Grab $5 wings and beef sliders, and pair them with a $6 marg or $3 beer for the ultimate deal.
