The Connecticut Convention Center will bloom once again during the 36th Annual Connecticut Flower and Garden Show. Taking place Feb 23-26 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, this show shines a spotlight on both local and traveling floral designers who create magnificent floral displays using mainly organic materials. More than 300 exhibitors are on the roster for this year's show, along with more than 80 hours of seminars and demonstrations. This year’s theme is "Woodland Enchantment," so you can count on seeing some special, whimsical designs.
Tickets run $18 for adults and $4 for children, with a special discounted rate of $16 for seniors on Thursday and Friday. Sales are cash only, so plan accordingly. You can visit the website for a list of pre-sale locations, as well as hours for your visit.
