A delightful little shop not far from Broadleaf Apartments run by an inspiring entrepreneur, Divine Treasures has chocolates, dessert bars, soft serve, and other treats, all made to suit any dietary needs. The owner, Diane, used her grandmother’s recipes to develop her desserts, but because of her dietary restrictions, took out all the refined sugar and corn syrup, and used only vegan and gluten-free ingredients. The results are like nothing you ever tasted, especially for vegan chocolate! The treats are so tasty that even dairy eaters will love them.
There are dozens of types of chocolate, and some are sugar-free as well. Visitors especially enjoy the soft serve, which you can get on a sundae or in a chocolate candy-dipped cone. The shop also stocks dairy-free cheeses, frozen vegan pizzas and calzones, so you can grab a light lunch for takeaway there too. The shop is small and there's no seating, but parking is very easy.
